Through our research and landscape studies we found an exciting differentiator in the Yahoo Fantasy offering and surfaced a truly unique insight. It was clear we needed to create a targeted, character driven campaign showcasing the huge range of fantasy games.
So we brainstormed… a lot!
Creating 10 individual characters that each represent a different fantasy game.
We wrote lines for the over-arching campaign plus individual lines for each game based on the characters we created.
The power of this concept is in the depth of the campaign. At the top level we can offer the best fantasy app and simultaneously target fans of specific games.
We are so proud of this project, the collaboration with the Yahoo team and it’s success. The Fantasy Football Campaign beat every target set for it, becoming the second most successful campaign after the NFL football season launch.
The concept was such a rich environment to create in that was hard to stop, especially when we brought them into motion.
My personal favorite that never quite saw the light of day for BEST BALL. Fantasy for those with too much going on.
