We created a logo using the iconic shapes of football. This was an opportunity to combine an entertainment brand with a traditional sports signature in a uniquely modern way. These directions brings innovation that inspires the promise of future success.
Our design concept explores the epic scale and valued traditions of the game across the world. It enables the audience to experience this global phenomenon while capitalizing on the equity of the History Brand. A deeper more exciting story is created using the familiar, beautiful, and bold shapes from all aspects of the game.
Although this was a complete take-over of the History Channel for two weeks, there could be no mistake that you were still watching the History Channel. We had to reflect their universal theme of Human Endeavour.
We built everything around the central red thread theme of the on-air brand. It could not have worked out better the center of the pitch, center spot, center of the goal, footballs all about going down the middle.
